Mindil Beach is located in The Gardens, less than 3km from Darwin City Centre.

Mindil Beach is a large green reserve that runs adjacent to the most well known beach in Darwin. The reserve is popular for markets, community events, fun runs and festivals and can be booked for future events.

If you are feeling energetic you could easily walk there. A scenic walk from the city goes past the golf course and Botanical Gardens.
