Discovery has been the Northern Territorys leading late night entertainment scene since the late nineties.
After complete renovation in 2012, the team at Discovery made it possible for party enthusiasts everywhere to revel in 3 levels of pure excitement. All decorated with a futuristic vibe, full bars and state-of-the-art equipment to cater to only the best DJs, Discovery is always occupied by Australias hottest crowd.

Location & History
Built in 1999, Discovery Nightclub quickly established itself as The Northern Territorys premier late night entertainment venue.
Just over a decade later, Discovery had solidified its iconic position in the Australian nightclub industry. Playing home to some of the biggest bands, DJs and touring acts makes the Darwin venue a well known force and leading name in entertainment, both in the country and world alike.
In Late 2011 the venue experienced one of its darkest days and was forced to close its doors. Territorians were left wondering what would happen to this important part of the Darwin night-scene.
Those who had frequented Discovery wondered if they had seen the inside of the venue for the last time, and those too young were left concerned that they would not get to experience this right-of-passage and that the Disco Days would become only treasured
memories held by the generation before.
This uncertain future was put to rest in January 2012 when a fresh team of experienced nightclub operators and investors saw the importance of the venue and began to embark on a plan to renovate and refurbish Discovery, restoring it beyond its former glory whilst bringing it in line with international nightclub standards.
The new era of Discovery Darwin features three separate levels and four individual bars; we have a section for you, whether it be to party the night away on the dance-floor, get your groove on above the action below, or sip cocktails in one of the many private booths.

Level 01
The heartbeat of Discovery is Level One featuring two bars, DJ, dance floor and state of the art sound and lighting. This is where you want to spend your night if the big room atmosphere is what you are chasing.
Level 02
Slightly elevated above the dance floor, Level Two allows you to be among the action without having to taste the sweat of the person dancing in front of you.
Featuring one huge bar and 3 private booths - this is the spot if you like to see and feel the action from the comfort of a level above.
Level 03
All it takes is a flight of stairs and you have entered party paradise with Level Three.
